Story

Alpha.Autonomy was born from Vertliner, a robotics venture founded in 2020 with a bold mission: To make drones and robotic platforms truly autonomous in the world’s most challenging environments. From its earliest days, the company focused on developing embodied AI algorithms that live within the machine, enabling real-time perception, decision-making, and action without the need for external control.

Over the years, our technology matured through demanding industrial use cases, from inspections in confined and hazardous spaces to operations in GPS-denied environments, while also expanding into dual-use applications. Each milestone reinforced our belief that autonomy is not just a feature, but a necessity for safety, efficiency, and mission success.

In 2025, Vertliner evolved into Alpha.Autonomy, an entity that reflects both our expanded mission and our commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI-powered robotics. Today, we stand at the frontier of autonomy, delivering platforms and algorithms that allow robots to adapt, endure, and succeed where others cannot.
